I’m calling this beauty “classy cornbread” because of the adorable pink flowers I tossed in. My boyfriend Bryan picked them for me, I just couldn’t resist 🙂
Plus, I’m really into food-ography lately so it was perfect!
Seriously, so delicious! Bryan and I made cornbread for my best friend and I’s “Southern Style Hangout” yesterday. It was a big hit, and an awesome snack.
Corn takes quite a while to bake. If you’re hungry and in a hurry, you’re more likely to grab something unhealthy because of your lack of time, such as icecream or a bag of chips.
By pre-preparing healthy snacks such as baked corn, you don’t have to wait so long when you’re hungry and in a hurry!
**Like my yellow nail polish?!? It matches the corn perfectly haha I didn’t even plan that!
When you’re ready to snack, simply bake a few pieces of corn at once, keep them in the fringe, and just reheat a piece in less then 3 minutes!
This will make you less tempted to get your hands on junk food.
Corn is one of my favorite summer vegetables, because it’s easy to prepare (especially for a summer picnics), and tastes great on a hot summer day!
You can really play with the spices you use on your corn and customize it for your tastes buds. I kept it simple using pepper and oregeno, which really made my tongue happy. Sometimes I like to get a little spicy, so I’ll add a bit of cayenne pepper too.

What to do:

Wrapped in tin foil^
Since I have a crazy busy schedule, I like to pre-prepare a few pieces of corn and bake them all at once. Then, the corns that I don’t eat, I kwwp them wrapped in the tin foil and put it in the fridge. When I’m ready to eat them, I pop one in the oven for only 5 mins, and it turns into a quick and easy snack!
