My dad is one of my biggest heros. He used to be a ballroom dancing champion, and I get to come along with him when he goes out to dances 🙂
Dancing is a fabulous way to get in some extra exercise. Wether it’s a ballroom dancing class, a Zumba class (which is my love) or even a latin salsa dance- it’s all great cardio!
If you’re looking for something fun to do on a free afternoon, check your local studios for some awesome classes near you.
I’m SO head over heels excited, because a BRAND NEW GYM opened up minutes away from my house!
And you all know what that means… ZUMBA TIME!
Not to mention the fortune of money I’m going to save in gas by not going to the second closest gym (which is over 20 mins.)
I’m anxious to try out all the Zumba teachers at the gym, there are 4 of them I think. I’ve been doing Zumba for so long, I’m really picky about my teachers.
If they don’t play the kind of music I like, I can’t get into it. I love reggaeton music, which is more of the hip-hop base side of Zumba.
I can’t even wait to start shakin’ my white girl hips to Pitbull, and flippin my blonde hair all over the place!
Do any of my fabulous followers Zumba out there???!
Getting my stretch on, in my private ballet lesson!
It has been so long since I took a serious ballet class, and believe it or not, I’m not NEARLY as flexible as I used to be. However as they say, “Once a ballerina, always a ballerina…” because this photo was taken after not having stretched in 2 years. Needless to say, I’ve passionately missed dance.
Good news! Since I’ve received a BUNCH of requests for “How-To” tutorials on improving your flexibility, I have some ideas in the making. Keep an eye out for those posts coming soon 🙂
