Perfect for a hot day, light and refreshing
I’m still really excited about adding vegetables to my smoothies, and the cucumber this morning was a great addition!
I could barely taste the light and crisp flavors of the 1/2 cucumber I put in.
Adding a vegetable to every smoothie this week has made them so much more gratifying to drink!
Today’s morning smoothie ingredients:
Peach nectar juice
Delicous and refreshing on this hot San Diego day!
Did you know, we consume 50% more meat then we did in 1950!!!!??
Back in the day, there were no Cheetos, hot pockets or chicken nuggets. Families had their own gardens!
It’s time for our younger generation to take back our health, and learn from our grandma’s and grandpa’s.
All natural & organic is the way to go 🙂
Eating small healthy snacks between meals is a great way to get your metabolism up!
This half bagel took 2 minutes to throw together, and is the perfect mid-afternoon snack between lunch and dinner.
The sweetness of the all natural raspberry jelly, combined with the fresh blueberries will give you some more much needed energy (since it’s probably already worn off from lunch.)
1/2 FRESH BAGEL
1 tsp jelly
1 tsp cream cheese
1 hand ful of fresh blueberries
Today’s smoothie was SO refreshing and delicious! It tasted like a mouthful of tropical paradise.
I make smoothies every morning because it’s a great way to start the day. Kicking it off with fruit and nutrients, encourages you to continue to keep your meals healthy.
This smoothie only took 3 minutes to throw together, and it’s 100% all natural!
1 cup strawberries
1 cup mangos
1/2 cup oranges
1/2 cup pineapple orange juice
Blend and drink! Yum 🙂
